Le Baite di Alpiaz Montecampione – #1590

High above Lake Iseo in the mountain air northeast of Bergamo, is this fine resort divided into sections called Le Baite di Alpiaz and La Splaza. In winter, there are many miles of excellent skiing right at your door. The resort has discos, pizzerias, bars, good restaurants, and fine shops. Although a car is required for getting around, many visitors love the walking and hiking opportunities, particularly off-season. Here you may wander the countryside and find isolated mountain chateaux, cowherd shacks, and distant lakes shimmering in the valleys below, along with mountain fauna and flora.
